Platinum plated Anode or Platinized Titanium Anodes also used as electrodes in a number of applications. For example, it is used in electro chemical, electrolysis, biomedical, Bio medical Engineering application. Ti-based alloys are finding ever-increasing applications in biomaterials due to their excellent mechanical, physical and biological performance. The purity of platinum is 99.99% and purity of Titanium is 99.99%.
The development must be performed on the basis of metallurgy and the resultant alloys must have a good balance between mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Among metallic materials, titanium and its alloys are considered as the most suitable materials for biomedical applications for their superior comprehensive properties.
